What does Gold-Filled mean? Gold filled jewelry contains 1/20th (5%) of real gold content, or more than 100x real gold content that most gold plated jewelry. The process to make gold-filled jewelry includes pressure heat-bonding the gold to underlying base metal. It does not fade or rub off, and is water friendly. A great alternative to solid gold. For longevity, it is still important to avoid chemicals and jewelry cleaners, etc. To clean, rinse with water and dry with soft polishing cloth.

Extend the life of your jewelry by removing before coming in contact with water and chemicals. Avoid wearing while applying lotion/perfumes, exercising or using harsh cleaning supplies. To clean, buff gently with a soft, dry jewelry cloth. Do not use jewelry cleaner on gold-filled jewelry.
